House Rules – Festival DOK53
To ensure Festival DOK53 is safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone, the following house rules apply. These rules cover the entire event site, including the festival grounds (backstage included), parking areas, and any additional spaces managed by the organization.
1. Entry and identification
- Visitors may only enter with a valid ticket and valid ID.
- The minimum age is 18, unless otherwise communicated by the organization.
- Access may be denied without valid ID, with no refund for tickets or travel costs.
- The organization reserves the right to frisk visitors and check bags. Refusal will result in denied entry.
2. Prohibited items and substances
- The sale or open use of hard drugs, nitrous oxide, or other illegal substances is not allowed. Risky or disruptive behavior may lead to removal from the grounds.
- Please take responsibility for your own health and that of others. Medical staff will be present — don’t hesitate to ask for help.
- Weapons or objects that can be used as weapons are strictly forbidden. Violation may result in police involvement.
- Portable chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and outside food or drinks are not allowed unless medically required and accompanied by a medical passport.
- Pets are not allowed. Assistance dogs are welcome.
3. Clothing and behavior
- Visitors wearing clubwear or clothing linked to gangs, football clubs, or other groups may be denied entry.
- Festival DOK53 does not tolerate violence, discrimination, sexual harassment, or any other abusive behavior. The organization will take immediate action in such cases.
- Distributing or selling flyers or goods on or around the festival site without written permission is prohibited.
- Entry under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs is not allowed. Visible intoxication may result in denied entry with no refund.
4. Smoking and safety
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is not allowed in tents or covered areas. Smoking is allowed outdoors as long as it does not cause disturbance.
- Fire-hazardous behavior, such as discarding lit cigarettes, is strictly forbidden. Violators will be removed and held liable for damages.
- Visitors must stay within the designated festival grounds. Wandering beyond the event boundaries is not permitted.
5. Recordings and equipment
- By entering Festival DOK53, you agree to possibly being filmed or photographed for promotional or security purposes.
- Camera surveillance is active and may be used during emergencies.
- Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, drones, or other recording gear are only allowed with written permission. Phones and compact cameras are permitted.
6. Environment and respect for surroundings
- Please use the trash bins provided. Respect the festival site and its surroundings.
- Vandalism, pollution, or damage to property, terrain, or nature will lead to removal and liability for repair costs.
7. Enforcement and sanctions
- Violation of these house rules may result in (further) denied entry. No refunds will be issued for tickets or additional costs.
- The organization may issue site bans lasting one or multiple years.
- Legal measures (such as dismissals by authorities) do not affect sanctions issued by the organization.
- In all cases not covered by these rules, the organization will decide. Instructions from staff or authorized parties must always be followed.
